21 March 2003 : Railway Engineering Works This Weekend
Supporters travelling to tomorrow's match at Dover Athletic's Crabble ground to see Margate take on Yeovil Town in the Nationwide Conference may want to plan carefully if they are coming by train.

The following is taken from the South-West Trains Website and is relevant to Saturday 22nd March:

Engineering work at Salisbury will prevent South West Trains services operating between Andover and Tisbury. A reduced Wessex Trains service will run through Salisbury.

The West of England service will only operate between Basingstoke and Andover and between Tisbury and Exeter St Davids. Passengers will need to change at Basingstoke or Exeter St Davids for alternative train services. Train times will be revised and passengers should obtain times before setting out.

Bus services for local journeys will operate between Andover and Salisbury or between Basingstoke and Salisbury. Buses will also replace SWT services between Salisbury and Southampton.

Long-distance passengers should use the bus service between Basingstoke and Tisbury. Alternatively, bus connections will be provided between Gillingham and Westbury for Great Western services into London Paddington and SWT tickets will be accepted on this route.
