Further to yesterday's news concerning the ticketing offer launched by the Football League and The Sun newspaper, there is a second offer for you to be aware of.
Specific to Yeovil Town this time, the club are offering the chance for three supporters to be admitted to Huish Park for the price of two tickets for selected matches during the remainder of the 2010-11 season. The offer commences with the home match against Peterborough United on Tuesday 15th February, and given that it is being run under the banner of 'Green and Whites - Tuesday Nights' it's hopefully safe to assume that the home matches against Brighton and Hove Albion (March 1st) and Carlisle United (March 29th) are the other two matches selected.
This week's Western Gazette has a cut-out form for you to fill in, where you supply your name and basic details for the three people taking advantage of the offer. This form, when filled in, must be presented to the Huish Park Ticket Office. At this point you'll get tickets at the rate of three for the price of two. Doubtless Terms and Conditions apply - check with the Huish Park Ticket Office on 01935-847888 for any unusual requirements or questions you may have.
The ticketing promotion is being backed by local town employers Screwfix, and their representative Lisa Daniels states that the target is to try to take the attendance for those matches over the 4,000 mark:
"The target we have been set is to get the gate to over 4,000 for the game and it would be fantastic for the town and the team if we can achieve this."
