Yeovil Town have had three players nominated for the Football League's Team of the Week. With only six matches being played in League One over the weekend, and the Glovers winning 2-0 against Brentford, a decent haul of nominations was always possible, and two defenders and a goalkeeper have been included in the list.
Goalkeeper Stephen Henderson, who was making his second debut for the club, got one nomination, whilst left-back Nathan Smith was also included. And with the Glovers keeping a clean sheet and the opening goal coming from a centre-back, probably the least surprising nomination is Paul Huntington.
They are joined by three players from AFC Bournemouth, three from Rochdale and two from Oldham Athletic as the Team of the Week is selected entirely from four teams this weekend.
