Ciderspace News Page : Pitch Inspection For Brentford Boxing Day Clash
23 December 2010 : Pitch Inspection For Brentford Boxing Day Clash
There will be a pitch inspection at Huish Park tomorrow lunchtime to see if the Boxing Day clash against Brentford can go ahead. A local referee will take a look at the Huish Park pitch at 12.00 noon tomorrow to see how good the pitch is under the snow and frost covers that are currently covering the grass.

The first League One match has already fallen victim to the weather, with Tranmere Rovers admitting defeat in their home game against Sheffield Wednesday at Prenton Park. More locally, Wincanton Races has already been cancelled on Boxing Day due to a frozen track.

According to the Metcheck website, the temperature in Yeovil is not expected to rise above freezing tomorrow and will reach overnight lows of -4C tonight. As soon as we are aware of any outcome of a pitch inspection, we'll post it here and on our Twitter account.
