Yeovil Town Ladies this afternoon announced that Sunday's match with Queens Park Rangers Ladies has been postponed due to ice and snow on the Raleigh Grove pitch.
Further snow is forecast, and with sub-zero temperatures predicted for the coming weekend, together QPR's fear of impassable roads between London and Somerset, it was decided to postpone the game well in advance of Sunday.
Further to this, a pitch inspection was made at the Somerton Sports Ground this afternoon and as a result Sunday's match between Yeovil Town Ladies Reserves and Queens Park Rangers Reserves has also been postponed due to a frozen and snowbound pitch.
