Yeovil Town's on loan striker Adam Phillip has returned to Premier League side Chelsea after completing a one month loan at Huish Park. There was a fair bit of trumpeting of the teenager's arrival at the club in the hope of him providing the goals to lift Yeovil out of their current run of form.
However, three substitute appearances at Charlton Athletic, AFC Bournemouth and Colchester United didn't really give him enough opportunity to show what he was capable of, and mean that Yeovil Town's home fans never got the chance to see him play. He was blocked from playing in the FA Cup by his parent club Chelsea and so would not have been allowed to play in tomorrow's match at Hartlepool United.
We wish him luck upon his return to Stamford Bridge.
