Tuesday night's FA Cup Second Round match against Hartlepool United has once again been postponed. The game at Victoria Park has been called off due to a mix of snow and a frozen pitch up up in the North East. A pitch inspection at 1.00p.m. by match referee David Webb (no not that one!) ruled that the pitch had no chance of a recovery.
The third attempt at playing the match will be made on Tuesday 14th December, kick-off 7.45p.m. The switch means that Yeovil Town's home League One match against Peterborough United will now be postponed and will require a new date.
Whilst the news of another postponement is frustrating, on the plus side at least the early decision ensures that no-one will have left for the game.
If you're still holding onto tickets for the Victoria Park match from the original attempt, they will still be valid for the December 14th match (or indeed any other subsequent attempt.
If the Victoria Park match is drawn, the latest date for the Replay will be December 21st, kick-off 7.45p.m. at Huish Park. In summary:
