Yeovil Town have extended the loan deal for goalkeeper Stephen Henderson for an additional three matches. The Bristol City keeper will be eligible to play for the Glovers up to and including the November 2nd match against Milton Keynes Dons.
Stephen's loan spell at Huish Park was due to expire after tomorrow's home match against Sheffield Wednesday, but he will now play in the away match at Brighton and Hove Albion, the home game against Swindon Town and finally the trip to play MK Dons.
The slightly unusual loan length can be explained by the fact that the game that follows the trip to stadium:mk is the FA Cup First Round. It could therefore be suggested that Bristol City are reluctant to allow him to become cup-tied with the Glovers, and therefore that if Sullivan's shoulder injury has not cleared up by then, that manager Terry Skiverton could be looking at a Plan C. Let's hope that John Sullivan is given the green light by then.
