1 October 2010 : Bring Me Sunshine Back To The Board
Yeovil Town have announced that two new Directors have been appointed to the board. Andy Rossiter and David Lee have been given positions on the board of directors for the Yeovil Football and Athletic Club Limited company - i.e. Yeovil Town Football Club.

The first of the two directors needs little introduction, given that this will be his second spell on the board, having served between 1993 and 1999 at Huish Park. Andy Rossiter is well known within the town as the Managing Director of Radio Cabs and has 30 years of experience of working with local businesses in the Somerset area. He left the Yeovil Town board during 1999 after he moved out to Spain to live, and to undertake various European business opportunities.

Andy continued to be in regular contact with the club during the decade that followed, often flying from his home in Spain back to the UK for matches. He has also been an occasional poster on the various supporters message boards that have existed over the years. More recently, he returned to the UK on a full-time basis two years ago and is now back living in Somerset. His daughter Becky Foster (as Becky Rossiter) was a regular in Yeovil Town Ladies side, and she is married to former Yeovil Town striker Adrian Foster, now manager of Gillingham Town.

The second director David Lee also has existing strong links with the club. He is a trustee of the Yeovil Town Community Trust and is also a serving Director and Company Secretary on that board, having been appointed in 2007. He is a Legal representative for Agusta-Westland in Yeovil, carrying the title of General Counsel, representing their worldwide business activities across the company group. He is a Bolton Wanderers supporter by virtue of his home town, but has lived in Yeovil since joining Westland in 1980 and now considers the Glovers his supported team.

In terms of committed responsibilities, David Lee will continue his work with the Community Trust programme, whilst Andy Rossiter has been given the club's Centre of Excellence as his area of responsibility.

We'd like to welcome Mr Rossiter and Mr Lee to the board, and hope they can have a strong positive influence in the running of the club over the coming months and years.

For the record, the other board members of Yeovil Town Football Club are John Fry (Chairman), Norman Hayward, Stephen Allinson, Brian Willis and Ron Budden.
