Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton has explained the absence of captain Craig Alcock, who has dropped out of the squad for today's match against Exeter City. Craig's withdrawal was a pre-match surprise, with no hints in the build-up of any problems, and the Glovers boss has told BBC Somerset that the 22 year old's problem is not a serious one:
"He's just got a problem with the lower lumber region of his spine. It's stiffened up so we've taken him out as a precaution, and hopefully he might be all right for Tuesday (against Southampton). It's nothing too serious, and it's him and JP (Kalala) that are missing today."
Yeovil Town play Southampton on Tuesday night at Huish Park - clearly Alcock will need a fitness test early next week to determine whether he is in the running for selection.
