Ten days ago, Yeovil Town cruised to their most comfortable win of the 2010-11 season. The 3-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers was all over inside half an hour, with the second half a bit of a non-event. Dean Bowditch, Andy Welsh and Paul Huntington were the goalscorers, but such was the team performance that many of those voting in the Man of the Match chose to nominate other players who they felt had also contributed to the win.
Thus whilst Welsh and Bowditch scored well in the votes, it was midfield pairing Jean-Paul Kalala and Shaun MacDonald who shone in the eyes of the fans, and in the end Shaun won the vote by a comfortable margin on his return to the club at the start of his fourth loan spell at Huish Park.
