6 January 2005 : Fontaine Makes Premiership Debut
Former Glovers loan defender Liam Fontaine made his Premiership debut for Fulham as a 90th minute substitute in last night's 3-3 draw against Southampton at St Mary's Stadium. Fontaine has been receiving rave reviews for his performances for Fulham's Reserves and he got himself an early 19th birthday present when he was selected for Fulham's trip to the south coast. Liam made 18 appearances for the Glovers in the centre of defence this season, and Fulham Reserve manager Paul Nevin recently remarked on the player's improvement in his game since his three month loan spell at Huish Park.
