Between Sky Sports and the BBC, they seem to have now block-booked what should be close to their final selection for the opening three months of the Football League season. The two broadcasting companies have chosen 25 matches for live transmission so far, although a couple more will follow through the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and Carling Cup rounds as they get drawn. As we get closer to November, that month should also get filled out, with the FA Cup coming around that time.
Brighton and Hove Albion's south coast derby against AFC Bournemouth is a sixth League One match chosen for broadcast at the start of October. The full list reads as follows:
