13 April 2010 : Ayling Extends Until End Of Season
Arsenal central defender Luke Ayling has extended his stay at Huish Park until the end of the season. The academy graduate arrived on loan on March 17th and has done enough to persuade manager Terry Skiverton to extend his deal for the remaining five matches.

Luke has so far only had 12 minutes on the pitch for the Glovers, as part of the closing stages of the away match at Southend United and was on the bench for the away trip to Stockport County as well as tonight's game against Millwall.

Whilst being used sparingly, he is being used as immediate back-up for Terrell Forbes and Steven Caulker and so with Stefan Stam still around a fortnight away from being ready for a return from his hamstring injury, having cover there is clearly going to be a benefit for the Glovers.
