Yeovil Town have finally completed the signing of midfielder Arron Davies - by signing him on an 'emergency loan' deal from Brighton and Hove Albion. The midfielder's registration details have been finally passed two weeks after an initial attempt to sign the player was blocked by FIFA Regulations concerning the registration and transfer of players.
Whilst we revealed on these pages that other clubs had found a route around the registration rules, the club that have come to Arron's rescue may come as a bit of a surprise to some. Arron was only at the Withdean Stadium on a loan deal, that started on September 1st, and was cut short in early November after the Sussex club changed management teams. Davies then returned to the City Ground and did not play for any other side thereafter.
Brighton currently lie four points below Yeovil in the League One able, and the two clubs face each other on the final game of the season, and so we assume that whatever agreement has been set up between the two clubs that it will not allow Arron to play in that match if the game is of any consequence.
