Slightly old news, but the re-emergence of Louis Lavers and Andre McCollin into Wednesday night's County Cup side, has formally signalled their return to the Yeovil Town senior squad. Dorchester Town have had both players on loan at the Jewson Stadium, but when Roy O'Brien was given the chop as their First Team Manager, Dorchester decided not to renew the loan deals for the pair.
Caretaker manager Ashley Vickers stated a couple of weeks ago that he would not be expecting them to return to the Magpies at any stage:
"The lads from Yeovil won’t be coming back anymore. I’m on the lookout for one or two new faces and I want to make sure we get players we can rely on and who want to wear the shirt."
McCollin was transfer-listed by the club over the summer, but there have not been any takers. Lavers is on a short-term deal at Huish Park that expires in January, but has yet to make the first team bench, and was almost immediately sent to play for the Magpies after Yeovil Town signed him up.
