Eight days ago, Yeovil Town were involved in a 3-3 home draw against Norwich City, with the Glovers inches away from snatching victory over the high-flying Canaries. Jonathan Obika, Dean Bowditch and Shaun MacDonald were the three scorers on the day, and it was one of those players who went on to win the Man of the Match voting by a small margin.
Whilst Ryan Mason won plaudits for his performance in the centre of midfield, and Craig Alcock's peach of a near post cross produced the moment that put Yeovil 3-2 up, it was Shaun MacDonald who won the poll, having scored the middle of Yeovil's three goals, and his second in two weeks.
Unfortunately, the Glovers will have to live without Shaun now, with him due to return to Swansea City until the New Year at least. However, there's little doubt that Yeovil Town got their money's worth out of him, with the Welshman scoring twice in 13 appearances across his 93 days at Huish Park.
