14 December 2009 : Bowditch Frustrated At Key Decisions
Yeovil Town striker Dean Bowditch admits that he is frustrated after seeing two decisions go strongly against him during the last two matches. Given his opening day misdemeanour against Tranmere Rovers that saw his shoulder dislocated after he was hacked down on the edge of the box, it's not too surprising that further incidents in the away match at MK Dons and Saturday's home game against Norwich City have riled him somewhat.

Saturday's incident saw referee Craig Pawson refusing to award the Glovers a penalty after Bowditch was put clean through on goal. Canaries centre-back Gary Doherty squared up to the Yeovil player in the aftermath, with Doherty looking at a clear red card if referee Pawson had blown his whistle. However, Bowditch told BBC Somerset that any accusations of diving aimed at him by Norwich players were wide of the mark:

"That's twice that I've been clean through on goal, and twice I've been clipped. The one at MK Dons was more blatant in the way that he kicked out at me. But then again if I'm clipped, then I'm clipped and if I can't stay on my feet then I can't stay on my feet. I'm not a cheat. I'm not like some players who will go down whenever they can. I try and stay on my feet, but two (fouls) in two (games) now where I could have a couple of extra goals through penalties or whatever. It doesn't help when they have eleven men on the pitch, when for two in two games they probably shouldn't have eleven players on the pitch."
