Yeovil Town centre-back Stefan Stam admits that he has had a frustrating season so far at Huish Park. The Glovers' Team Captain has been in and out of the side so far this season, and has made just nine appearances for the Glovers, featuring in just seven out of Yeovil's 19 league fixtures this season.
Stefan has returned to fitness after a six week layoff with a knee injury, but told BBC Somerset that his frustration would remain until he got a good run in the side and could build up some better form and match fitness:
"It's just so frustrating because I hate being injured. I'd been out for about six weeks with my knee until about three weeks ago. I just hated it. I came here to Yeovil to play football and that's all I want to do. It's quite annoying, especially if you're in and out of the team, because all you want to do is to get a decent run of games. But obviously that's not going to work when you're injured. I can't stand the sight of the gym anymore, so I'm glad I'm not there. I just want to play football again."
