8 September 2009 : No Room For Mason As England Under 19s Win
Despite landing on the stand-by list for tonight's England Under 19s match, there was no final squad place for on-loan midfielder/striker Ryan Mason for their match against Russia. Ryan has therefore been able to stay in South Somerset this week without interruption.

The Under 19s won their game 2-1 tonight with goals from Nile Ranger and Reece Brown in a game played at Shrewsbury Town's new ProStar Stadium. Former Glovers loan winger Andros Townsend played the first 45 minutes of the match before being substituted at half time.

England Under 19s: Declan Rudd, Nathan Baker, Matthew James(c), Andros Townsend, Nathan Delfouneso, Nile Ranger, Sanchez Watt, Reece Brown, Nathanial Clyne, Scott Malone, Jacob Mellis.

Substitutes: Wesley Foderingham, Matthew Briggs, Cameron Stewart, James Wallace, Ryan Donaldson, Jordan Clarke, Oscar Gobern.
