Norwich City manager Paul Lambert has been fined by the Football Association for improper conduct. The charge relates to Lambert's final league match as Colchester United manager in a 2-1 win over Yeovil Town.
Lambert was sent to the stands after his reaction to a decision made late in the game by match referee Russell Booth after he failed to award the home side a penalty. In a hearing today at Wembley, Lambert admitted the charge, was fined £750 and was warned as to his future conduct. The Regulatory Commission noted that they had taken into account his previously good disciplinary record when assessing the matter.
