Yeovil Town Football Club is delighted to announce a £1.25m sponsorship deal with American sports construction firm Blue Sky International.

The partnership will see investment of up to £750,000 into a new artificial playing surface for utilisation by the Community and the Club, with an additional commitment of £500,000 spent on pre-season tours to North America and the Caribbean over the next ten years.

CEO Martyn Starnes said: "This partnership represents an important part of our ongoing development plans and is a fabulous agreement for the Club and the Community. I am absolutely delighted to welcome Blue Sky International to Yeovil. They bring with them a wealth of expertise in the provision of first class sports facilities."

" We are really looking forward to working with them. The artificial surface that will be installed is specifically designed for football and will improve the training facilities for the Club and its Centre of Excellence as well as providing the local community with a top class pitch that can be used for training and matches all year round."

"By also facilitating pre-season tours to North America they will provide the first team squad with excellent opportunities to prepare for the new campaign each year."

Hank Julicher, the CEO of Blue Sky International, said: "We are obviously delighted to be entering into this significant partnership with Yeovil Town Football Club. It is our hope that the investment being made is seen to benefit the club, the fans and the local community over the next ten years."
